Green, was killed in action in France, Aug. 1. Roy was in the first draft from Ionia county. He went to Camp Custer, and was transferred from there right away for service in France. He was 22 years old. He leaves one sister, Mrs. Goodenough of Odessa, a brother Floyd Green of Orange. His mother died nineteen years ago. His brother Floyd married Mary, daughter of John Jeffery of this city.
