Sentinel-Standard - Friday, August 1, 1947

Homer Talmage Green, 57, died Thursday afternoon at his home at 116 South 
Dexter street.

He was born August 14, 1889, the son of E.J. and Alice M. Green, and attended 
Ionia schools. He conducted his own business in Ionia.

He was a member of the Evangelical church and the Evangelical Brotherhood and 
Bethany class. 

Surviving him are his wife, Bernice G. Green; two daughters, Mrs. G. Doral 
Rountree of Ionia and Mrs. Frederick C. Higley of Lyons, three grandchildren, 
and three brothers, Arba H. Green of Ionia, A.B. Green of Chicago, and E.K. 
Green of Grand Rapids. 

Prayer services will be held from the home Sunday, August 3, at 2:30 p.m. and 
from the Evangelical church at 3 o'clock. The Rev. A.R. Kuehn will officiate 
with interment in Highland Park cemetery.
