She was always ready to help further the cause of Christ and to help guide her Sunday school class aright. A loving wife and mother has gone to be with Him who loves us all. Her work of faith and labor of love is needed. Some day we shall join her where all is joy and happiness. She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, one son, a father and mother, one sister and three brothers, besides a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services held in First U. B. church, Rev. C. H. Zuse, pastor, officiating. Burial at Lakeside cemetery, March 1, 1921 ---------- Though sometimes there is a sadness In our lives, as there is today Since the life which we have cherished Left our home to fly away. Yet she leaves us not in sorrow, For she loves us much the same As we loved the dear one, Ethel. God had given to praise His name. And the heartaches which we suffered May be light compared with those Which our loved one might have suffered In this world of sin and woes Now she's safe, though well we loved her. Human love doth sometimes fall. Lacking power, grace, or wisdom. Now she's safe beyond the veil. And we have a share in heaven; We have given from our home A sweet blossom, beautifying God's own kingdom 'till we come. Though with tears we did surrender Him his own, his love has left Many blessings, to our keeping, Other hearts are more bereft. CARD OF THANKS -------- This period of great sorrow over the departure of our loved one, Mrs. Ethel Lepard-Green has been sweetened by innumerable kindnesses extended to us by our friends and neighbors and by the beautiful flowers which were sent by the church, the lodges, the patrons of the mail route, the communities, the post- office force the County Rural Letter Carrier association and the individuals and families. It is gratifying beyond expression and words cannot express our thanks.
