Lake O. Wave, Wed. April 7, 1982

HASTINGS -  Florence E. Green, 90, of Hastings and formerly of Woodland died 
March 30 in Pennock Hospital.

She was born July 30, 1891, in Barry County, the daughter of Fred and Nellie 
Kenyon Bump.

She married Dan Green Jan. 1, 1941 in Hastings and he preceded her in death in 
1949.

She was employed at Mutual Insurance Co. in Hastings and Hastings Manufacturing 
Co.

She was a member of the Calvary United Brethren Church of Lake Odessa, the 
Women's Missionary Association and the Women's Christian Temperance Union.

Survivors include one brother, Dale of Hastings, one daughter-in-law, Vada 
Green, of Hastings, two grand-daughters, five great grandchildren and two 
nephews. 

Funeral services were Friday at 2:30 p.m. from the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel 
in Lake Odessa, with the Rev. George Speas officiating.

Burial was in Woodland Memorial Gardens.

A memorial fund has been established to the Calvary United Brethren church of 
Lake Odessa.
