The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, October 24, 1972
Mabel L. Green, 52, of route 3, Belding, died Monday at United Memorial 
hospital in Greenville.  Born December 14, 1919 in Lowell, she was the 
daughter of Morrison and Oneida Brighton.

Survivors include her stepmother, Mrs. Lauva Brighton of Grand Rapids; one 
daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Gloria) Geiger of route 3, Belding; three sons, David 
of route 3, Thomas and Timothy at home; sister, Mrs. Margaret Denny of 
Portland; brother, Robert Brighton of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and two 
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 at Huffman funeral home, Belding 
with pastor Robert Bigelow officiating.  Interment will be in Ashley 
cemetery.  The family will meet friends Tuesday evening from 7 to 8:30 at the 
funeral home.
