                                   JOHN GREEN

John Green, 66, died Tuesday at his home in Saranac. He lived alone. His body 
was discovered by his step-daughters, Mrs.Gertrude Frey and Mrs.Keith Fitzer of 
Saranac.

Mr.Green, born January 23, 1884 in Mecosta county, lived the greater part of his 
life on a farm near Muir. He moved to Saranac several years ago. Survivors 
included two stepson, Lyle Fitzer of Grand Rapids, and Keith Fitzer of Saranac; 
one step-daughter; Mrs.Gertrude Frey of Saranac; six step-grandchildren, three 
great-grandchildren; three brothers,Frank of Charlotte, Leo of Flint, and Albert 
of Ludington; and three sisters, Mrs.Elizabeth Kind of Belding, Mrs.Kate 
Harrington of Albion, and Mrs.Agnes Chartrant of Detroit.

Funeral services will be from the Morris Funeral Home Thursday at 2 p.m., with 
the Rev.E.H.Humphrey of Saranac officiating.

Interment will be in the Saranac Cemetery.
