Green, aged 85, of Ionia, formerly of Portland, passed away August 18, 2006 in Lansing. He was born June 29, 1921 in Portland the son of Floyd A. and Mary G. (Jeffery) Green. He married Anna B. Ambrook October 4, 1946. He worked at Holley Carburetor Factory in Portland where he met his wife. He later worked as an Electrician for Oldsmobile at Plant 2 for 30 years. Earl was a WWII veteran of the Army serving overseas as a Private first class from 1943 until 1945. He is survived by his children Ronald and Linda Green of Ionia, Terry and Viola Green of Mecosta, Gary and Sharon Green of Portland, Steven and Dawn Green of St. Johns, Danny R. Green of Virginia, Cathy and Clyde Olson Jr. of Lake Odessa. Sisters Betty Livingston of Portland and Ethel (Ginger) and Fran Lehman of Portland. Grandchildren Karen (Green) Charon, Kevin and Amanda Green, Kris and Lindsey Green, Terry Green Jr., Tim and Susan Green, Korey and Ashley Green, Kenny Green, Kevin Green, Katie Green, Ericka Green, Theresa Ann (Green) and Andy Densmore, Jonathon Green, Jason Green, Christina (Olson) and Richard Rau, Pam (Olson) Lanz, Wayne Olson. Great Grandchildren Cheyenne Charon, Alisa Green, Kollin Green, Kaleb Green, Mackenzie Green, Molly Green, Mathew Green, Mickel Green, Kody Green, Denver Green, Autumn Lanz. He was preceded in death by his wife Anna in 2005, his parents, brothers Robert, Leo, Roy, Dale and Paul. Sisters Grace Ritter and Mary Alice Green. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11 a.m. at the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia with Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating. Interment Balcom Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday 4 to 7 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
