Green of 720 Brush Street, Portland, died Saturday in a Lansing hospital. Born June 7, 1922 in Mulliken, he was the son of Paul and Evalyn Graft Green. A veteran of World War II, he was a life member of the Portland VFW, Post 4090, and was an auto mechanic for Key Ford-Mercury in Portland. Surviving are his wife, Mary; three sons, Edward and Jack of Portland and Paul of Lyons; four grandchildren; his mother, Evalyn Green of Mulliken; three brothers, Gordon of Grand Ledge, Harold of Clarksville, and Jack of Mulliken. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Neller Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dow Chamberlain officiating. Burial will be in Portland cemetery. Graveside services will be conducted by the Portland VFW Post. Pallbearers will be his three sons and three brothers, Gordon, Harold, Jack A., Edward, Paul and Jack W. Green.
