Only one other family in the United States had more family members serving at the same time than the Green family. Following his military service, Clair went to work at Lake Odessa Machine Products, and later worked at Keeler Brass in Lake Odessa until the time of his retirement. Clair enjoyed spending most of his years living on Jordan Lake where he spent many hours fishing. He also enjoyed bowling and was a league member in Lake Odessa for many, many years. The funeral service was held at the Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa on Wednesday, August 29, 2007. Burial with military honors followed at Lakeside Cemetery. The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to Barry Community Hospice.
