Green, from that dread disease, consumption. He was born and lived in Canada until he came to Belding in ’95. He was employed in Belding-Hall Co.’s factory “A” until it became necessary for him to give up his work in June last, since which time he has failed steadily until the end came to his sufferings, as above stated, on Saturday. He had always been in exceptionally good health until an attack of the grippe last winter left him with a cough which developed into consumption. The funeral took place Tuesday afternoon, being conducted by Rev. A. O. Carman. His parents are still alive, residing in Canada, besides whom he had three brothers there and three sisters residing in Belding, Mrs. Devine Calkins, Mrs. Jas. H. Green and Miss Maggie Green.
