The Ionia Daily Standard, Monday, October 7, 1901

Mrs. Ansel Greene of Sebewa, the woman who was so terribly attacked and bitten 
by swine, died on Saturday morning, having endured great pain.  She was aged 
50 years, and leaves two children.  It develops that she had been cautioned by 
her husband against entering the yard which enclosed the hogs, as they were 
known to be savage.
