Olive G. Green
IONIA - Mrs. Olive G. Green, 79, of Elmwood Drive, Ionia, died Saturday 
evening after suffering a heart attack at home.

She was born in Fenton on March 8, 1900, and she attended schools in Fenton 
and Grand Ledge. She married Archie Richardson in Grand Ledge in 1915. He 
preceded her in death in  the 1940s.

She married Walter R. Greene in 1951 in Bowling Greene, Ohio, and he preceded 
her in death March 25, 1961. Mrs. Greene moved to Ionia in 1971.

Surviving are two sons, Charles Richardson of Lansing and John Greene of 
Columbia, S.C.; two daughters, Myrtle Comstock of Honor and Carol Cope of 
Ionia; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 PM in the Leddick Funeral Home with 
the Rev. Henry Dondzilla officiating. Committal services will be at the 
funeral home with a later burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Lansing.

The family will receive friends and relatives Monday from 7-9 PM and Tuesday 
from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A memorial service has been established in the name of 
the Ionia County Unit of the American Cancer Society.
