Martha L. Greenhoe passed away Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005 at the Wedgewood 
Healthcare Facility in Lakeland, Fla.

She was born in Grand Rapids Jan 26, 1927.  She moved to Lakeland in 1986 where 
she worked for the Detroit Tigers for 17 years in ticket sales and as a 
receptionist.  Previous to that she worked for Dr. Durrant in Portland as a 
receptionist.  She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 8002 and a 
Girl Scout leader.

She is survived by her husband Bernard “Bernie” Greenhoe; daughters, Priscilla 
“Percy” Anderson of Charlotte, Julie Gee of Holt, Tamra Summers of Portland and 
Debra Morgan of Dimondale; sons, Gregory Greenhoe of Portland, Kurt Greenhoe of 
Quincy; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Monday, Nov. 7, at the Portland Cemetery for 
family and friends.  Pastor Marilyn Danielson of the First Congregational 
Church, will officiate.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the 
Alzheimer’s Foundation.
