Robert D. Greenhoe, 68, of Ionia, passed away November 12, 2000, in Grand 
Rapids.  He was born August 3, 1932, in Grand Rapids, the son of Harold and 
Anastacia (Saladin) Greenhoe.  He married Mary Lou Rabidoux June 8, 1957.

He was employed by the Department of Corrections for 25 years.  He was an 
educator and administrator through most of his career.  He was a member of the 
Knights of Columbus, SS Peter and Paul Church, Former president of SS Peter 
and Paul School Board.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Greenhoe of Ionia; sons, James and Sheri 
Greenhoe of Okemos, John and Gretchen Greenhoe of Kalamazoo; daughters, Jane 
Moulton of Midland and Julie Woodbury of Ionia; brothers, Richard and Mary Ann 
Greenhoe of Grand Rapids, Donald and Jean Greenhoe of North Carolina, Thomas 
and Irene Greenhoe of Washington; grandchildren, Brian Greenhoe, Dan Greenhoe, 
Alison Woodbury, Benjamin Woodbury.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday 11 a.m. at the SS Peter and Paul 
Church with Father Melvin Fox celebrant.  Interment will be in Mt. Olivet 
Cemetery in Ionia.  Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2 until 4 and 7 until 
8:30 p.m. at the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia where a Rosary will be recited at 
8:15 p.m.  Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions to SS Peter and Paul 
school and the American Cancer Society.  Envelopes available at the Funeral 
Home.
