The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, July 14, 1979

Alfred Greenhoe, 86, 843 Prospect, Ionia, died Friday at Ionia County Memorial 
Hospital.  He was born Jan. 12, 1893 in Evergreen Township in Montcalm 
County.  He has been a resident of Ionia since 1945 and was a retired employee 
of the Mitchell-Bentley of Ionia.  In 1927 he was married to Bessie Willmore, 
who survives him.

Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Naomi Lutz of Ionia and Mrs. 
Donieta Joy of Littleton, Colo.; six grandchildren; and one great-
granddaughter.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. at the Stebbins and 
Simpson Funeral Home in Sheridan.  Interment will be at the Evergreen 
Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. on Sunday.  The 
family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
