Elaine D. Greenhoe, 96, of Ionia, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 10, 1915 in 
Trenton, Neb., the daughter of Charles A. and Dorothea (Steinke) Blank.

Both parents have preceded her in death, in addition to her husband, Kenneth 
Greenhoe; one daughter, Janet Thompson; one daughter-in-law, Jean Greenhoe; one 
sister; and one brother.

Surviving are her children, Duane Greenhoe of Ionia, Marilyn and Jim Clover of 
Ionia; 12 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren.

Mrs. Greenhoe has been a longtime resident of the Ionia area. She retired from 
the Sears Catalog department in Ionia after 25 years of service.

A private family service will be held on Monday, Nov. 14, 201 at the Simpson 
Family funeral Home, Sheridan with Mr. Allen MacDonald officiating. 

Interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery, Sheridan.

The family has suggested for those desiring to do so, that memorial 
considerations in Elaine’s memory can be made to the Lansing–Ionia Hospice, who 
helped care for her at Walnut Grove.
