Ionia Sentinel Standard, 30 Jan 1950

Herbert N. Greenhoe of Muir died suddenly at his home late Sunday evening.  He 
was 69 years of age.

He was born in Ronald township Mar. 29, 1880.  A lifelong resident of Ronald 
and Ionia townships, he moved to Muir a year ago.  Feb. 25, 1903 he was married 
to the former Winnifred Young.

Surviving are the wife; a son, Stanley, of Flint; three grandchildren; a 
brother, Clarence of Ionia; and a sister, Mrs. Agnes King, of Lansing.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 1, at 2:30 p.m. from the North 
Plains church with interment in North Plains cemetery.  Dr. Paul Stewart will 
officiate.  The body rests at Shaw-Rivett funeral home in Muir until the time 
of service.
