A beloved wife, Mom, grandma and great-grandma, she was born August 31, 1931 in Lansing, Michigan, the daughter of Dolphis F.and Genevieve I. (Darlington) Rabidoux. Mary Lou married Robert D. Greenhoe onJune 8, 1957 in Williamston, Michigan. He preceded her in death November 12, 2000. Mary Lou was a school Teacher, starting her career in a country school and later substitute teaching in the public schools. Mary Lou was an active member of S.S Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Ionia, assisting as a Lay Minister. She loved to go for walks and swim at the YMCA. She enjoyed listening to and watching birds, going to the cottage with her family, and taking trips with her siblings. Mary Lou was an "ace" cribbage player, and she enjoyed playing anytime she could. Surviving Mary Lou are her children, James (Sheri) Greenhoe of Lakeland, Florida; Jane Greenhoe of Midland; John (Gretchen Johnson) Greenhoe ofKalamazoo; and Julia (Patrick) Lyons of Ellenton, Florida. Grandchildren:Brian (Elizabeth) Greenhoe of Rosemount, Minnesota; Daniel Greenhoe of East Lansing,; Genna Greenhoe of Midland; Anya Greenhoe of Kalamazoo; Alison Stoken of Jenison; and Benjamin Woodbury of Norfolk, Virginia. Great-grandchildren:Elliott, Fletcher, Clark and Robert; Jeanne Reimbold of Okemos and brother Dolphis (Jean) Rabidoux of Eaton Rapids. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert, her siblings Ann Glynn, Joe Rabidoux, and Maurice Rabidoux and brothers-in-law Clarence Fisher, Mark Glynn and Jim Reimbold. Mass of Christian Burial will be at S.S. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Ionia, Monday June 7, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Tom Brown, Celebrant. Rite of Christian Burial at Mt.Olivet Cemetery. Lunch to follow at the Knight's of Columbus Hall on Steele Street. Mary Lou's Family will receive visitors the day prior at the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia on Sunday, June 6, 2021 from Noon to 4:00 p.m. with a Scripture Service at 3:30 p.m. Those wishing to make memorial contributions toAquinas College or the American cancer Society.
