  Excerpts from Ionia Obituary

     DUANE ELMER GREENHOE

Died Wednesday July 30, 2025-age 89 of Ionia,MI.
Born October 16,1935, son of Kenneth & Elaine(Blank) Greenhoe.
Duane married Jean Ann Pitchford in June 1955.
Together Duane & Jean raised 6 children.
Duane was a lifetime farmer, working a short time for the Chrysler Trim Plant in 
Lyons,MI.
Survived by his children Stephen (Sandy) Greenhoe, Rebecca (Joseph) Altoft, 
David Greenhoe, Douglas (Kathy) Greenhoe, Christopher Greenhoe & Ann Greenhoe & 
husband Kris Lawless along with any grandchildren & Great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his loving wife,Jean, his parents, sisters Janet Thompson & 
Marilyn Clover, Jean's parents William & Gladys(Rier)Pitchford, brother-in-law 
Claude Thomas, sister-in-law Delma Pitchford & 2 nieces.
Duane will be remembered for his love of vintage John Deere Tractors.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Sheridan, MI.
Our family would like to say Thank You to all those who have helped us along 
dad's journey.
