Ionia Sentinel Standard, Sep 1995

E. Jane Greenlee, 71, of Ionia died Monday, Sept. 18, 1995 at Ionia County
Memorial Hospital.  She was born Aug.  15, 1924 in Easton Township, the daughter
of Tom and Bessie (Engrebreisen) McKendry and grew up in the Easton-Ionia area.
 She was a graduate of Ionia High School and worked for many years as a
secretary for Orson E. Coe in the automobile business.  She was married to Louis
Greenlee.  During his years as a career U.S. Serviceman, the couple spent many
years in Japan, Hawaii and other parts of the United States.  She returns to the
Ionia area nine years ago after Louis’s death.

Surviving are brother Harold (Marian) McKendry, of Ionia, sister Lorraine
(Alfred) Heether, of Smyrna and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded
in death by her husband Louis.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Cook Funeral Home
with Rev. Lawrence Hodge of the First United Methodist Church in Ionia
officiating.  Interment will be in Easton Cemetery.  Visitation will be on
Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.at the Rich Street
Chapel.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Hands and envelopes
are available at Cook Funeral Home.
