Greenwalt had pitched for Ionia, Lyons, Hubbardston, Palo and Carson City sandlot baseball teams. He pitched his last game when he was 60. Born January 3, 1891 in Palo, he opened his Hubbardston barber shop in 1920. He was married to the former Thelma Cooper of Hubbardston in Palo in 1925. She is his only survivor. He was a member of the Ionia B.P.O Elks and of the Hubbardston American Legion post, being a World War I veteran. Funeral service was held Monday at St. John the Baptist church in Hubbardston, with the Rev. E.R. Fox officiating. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery in Hubbardston. Full military rites were conducted by the Hubbardston American Legion Post with the Assistance of Carson City American Legion. The massed colors and color guard and firing squad led the funeral procession from the residence to the church. Lawson Knowles gave the graveside military service. Funeral arrangements were made by Burns funeral home in Carson City.
