Greer, 72, of Los Angeles, California, died January 14, in a hospital in Glendale, California, where she had been a patient for four days. Mrs. Greer was born May 7, 1881, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hopkins Clark, on the former Clark farm in Orleans township. At the age of 15, and at the death of her mother, she went to live with a brother in Chicago, afterwards going to the home of a sister and brother-in-law, the Rev. Mr. and Mrs. McLeod of Los Angeles, where she met and married Walter Greer, a chemist. Besides her husband Walter she is survived by two sons, William of Texas and Russell a teacher at Redding, California, one brother Fred of near Redding and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held in The Little Church of the Flower with the Rev. Robert Warren of the Free Methodist church officiating. The soloist, John Lambert, sang “Abide With Me” and “Nearer My God To Thee.” Interment was in Forest Lawn cemetery.
