Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 2 Nov 1959

Funeral service was conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the LeValley Methodist church 
for Arthur D. Gregory, 94, who died October 27.  Rev. J. Lawrence Ward 
officiated and Mrs. Frank Stout was organist.  Honorary bearers were Zenas 
Badder, Nick Lawless, Victor Wilson, Carl Storey, John Welch and Ray 
Patterson.  Interment was at Balcom cemetery.  Bearers were Harry Emelander, 
Clinton Sprague, Francis Lawless, Erwin Heator, Howard Sprague, and Harold 
Simmons.

Those attending from away were Ivan Gregory of Colfax, Wis., Mrs. Roy 
Bittenbender of Zephyrhills, Fla., Mrs. Mabel Adams, Springport, Mr. and Mrs. 
Claude Langridge of Rockford, Mr. and Mrs. Hoyle McMercury of Albion, Russell 
Gregory of Ann Arbor, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Martens of Chicago, Ill, Dale Gregory 
of Madison, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Howard Dickens of Lansing, Edith Shotwell, Mrs. 
Addie Ryerson, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Rowe, Jr., Francis Lawless, Nick Lawless, 
Freemon Monks, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Wilson and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Fryover and 
daughter, Diane of Portland;

Carl Storey of Grand Rapids, Keith Hutchins and Mrs. Izma Hutchins of Muskegon, 
Ray Patterson, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Jones and Mrs. Jessie Adgate of Lyons, Mr.
