Sentinel-Std. - Saturday, April 25, 1964

Anthony J. Gresco, 85, died Saturday morning following a long illness.

He was born May 29, 1878 in Poland the son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Grescoviak 
and came to United States as a small child in 1907 he was married to Cecelia 
Harter of Dayton, Ohio. They lived in Ionia a number of years and for 17 years 
resided in Lansing before returning to Ionia.

Mr. Gresco was a member of Holy Cross church of Lansing.

Surviving besides his wife are a son, Richard Grescowie of Dimondale, two 
daughters, Ms. Helen Mann and Mrs. Margie Klein of Ionia, two brothers, Frank 
Greskoviak of Ionia and Martin Gresco of Grand Rapids, one sister, Mrs. Rose 
Dargls of Lansing, 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. One son, Paul 
preceded him in death April 1, 1963

Rosary will be recited Monday evening at 7:30 at Myers funeral home.

funeral services will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul church 
followed by interment at Mt. Olivet cemetery.
