The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, October 10, 1964
A former Ionia resident, Martin Grescoe, 79, died Friday morning at Sunshine 
hospital in Grand Rapids after an illness of five months.  While residing in 
Ionia he was employed at Pere Marquette shops and continued in their employ 
after moving to Grand Rapids in the early 1930s. 

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane; two daughters, Mrs. Peggy Lynch of 
Grand Rapids, and Mrs. Mary Jane Kennedy of Ada; a brother, Frank Grescoviak 
of Ionia; a sister, Mrs. Ed Dargess of Lansing; three granddaughter and five 
great-granddaughters.

Rosary will be recited at Ronan funeral home in Grand Rapids Sunday at 4 p.m. 
and funeral Mass will be sung at St. Andrews Cathedral Monday at 9:30 a.m.
