Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 14 Nov 1940

Mrs. Frances Grescoviak, age 94, died early Thursday morning at the home of her
daughter Mrs. E.J. Dargis, in East Lansing.  She was born in Poland and lived
her early life there.  Following her marriage to Martin Grescoviak in Poland the
couple came to the United States and made their home at Chicago for about five
years.  From Chicago they moved to Ionia where they made their home for about 45
years.  Following Martin’s death six years ago, Mrs. Grescoviak went to Lansing
to live with her daughter.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dargis, and Mrs. Anthony Gazella of Ionia;
five sons, Anthony and Frank of Ionia, Martin of Grand Rapids, Michael of
Waukesha, Wisconsin and Stanley of Lansing; 19 grandchildren and 28
great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9 a.m. from Holy Cross church
at Lansing.  Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Ionia.
