Sentinel-Std. - Thursday, Sept. 26, 1968

Funeral mass for Frank M. Grescoviak will be Saturday at 10 am at SS. Peter and 
Paul Catholic church. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet.

Mr. Grescoviak, 86, did Thursday morning at Ionia Manor following an extended 
illness.

He was born January 6, 1882 in Poland, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin 
Grescoviak and came to Chicago with his parents at the age of seven. At the age 
of ten he and his parents came to Ionia where he has lived since.

He was married July 20, 1909 in Ionia to Rose Powell and they celebrated their 
golden anniversary in 1959. She preceded him in death October 23, 1963.

As a young man he was employed at the Pere Marquette car shops and later at 
Hayes  Body Corp and at the time of his retirement was superintendent of 
Industries at Michigan reformatory. He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul 
church and charter member of council 944 of Knights of Columbus.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Louis D. Bricker and Mrs. Richard Dunn of 
Ionia; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Edward 
Dargis of Lansing.

Rosary will be recited Friday at 7:30 pm at Myers funeral home.
