GRIEBEL ASSES AWAY Had Been In Poor Health For Long Time. Mrs.Jacob Griebel, a respected lifelong resident of Woodland Township and a daughter of Mr.and Mrs.Willard Jordan, died at the home of her parents Sunday night, Nov. 10, after a continued illness. She was 31 years of age. Edith Maude Jordan was born in Woodland Nov.7, 1876 and was married to Jacob Griebel in 1894. They had lived on the old Griebel place until last April, when because of Mr.Griebel's ill health they quit the farm intending to go West for the benefit of her health. They went no farther than Fort Wayne,Ind., where they visited relative for a short time, returning to Woodland because her health failed so alarmingly rapid.Since this time she has been at the home of her parents until death came as the ministering angel and relived her of her suffering, which, from the first has been borne with true Christianly fortitude. She leaves a husband, father, mother, four sisters and three brothers to mourn the loss of a true and devoted wife, daughter and sister, A wide circle of acquaintances also lose, by her death, a real friend. The funeral was held from the Lake Odessa M.E.Church, of which church she has been a member for the past seven years, yesterday at 10 o'cock and interment was made in Lakeside Cemetery.
