HE WAS BURIED HERE
Remains of William Grieble Were Brought from Ionia Tuesday

William Grieble a former resident south east of town died at his home in Ionia 
Saturday night at the ripe old age of 81 years. The funeral was held at the  
Lutheran church there Tuesday morning and the remains for burial to Lakeside 
cemetery by his sons, George and Henry of Chicago, Christian of Lansing and 
Jacob of Woodland, also by his son-in-law, Supervisor George Schneider. The 
deceased was the Father of ten living children, all of whom are grown to middle 
life. He has been a devoted member of the Lutheran church for a long time. until 
thirteen years ago he lived on the Grieble farm south east of town now owned by 
his son Jacob.
