Ionia Sentinel - 1 November 1967
Rev. Lowell Young officiated at funeral services Monday for J. Wesley Grieve, 
who died in St. Johns, Friday.  Bearers were Charles Brown, Blaine Laden, 
Stanley Jorgenson, Edward Timmerman, John Toutenhoofd and Pau Leslie.

Attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. John York and Mr. and Mrs. 
Russell Curtis of Portland; Mr. and Mrs. Jack York and Helen York of 
Kalamazoo; Mrs. Joseph Speas, Mrs. Rex Strather, Mr. and Mrs. Marion LaVean of 
Lansing; Mr. and Mrs. Max Strather of East Lansing; ArlRoy LaVean, David and 
Debbie of Ovid; Mr. and Mrs. Ward LaVean, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Grieve, Mr. and 
Mrs. Philip Grieve, Mrs. Margaret LaVean and Garth LaVean and Mr. and Mrs. 
Cecil Taylor of Saranac; Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Wood and Dianne of Mt. Clemens,
