Philip V. Grieves, aged 92, of Lowell, passed away April 15, 2006 in Belding. 
He was born April 27, 1913 in Easton Twp. the son of Ralph and Ivy (Hunter) 
Grieves. Philip married Bertha Weesner December 13, 1940. He graduated from 
Saranac Schools in 1931. He was a past member of Saranac VFW and Farm Union.

Philip is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Bertha Grieves of Lowell; 
children, Ann and Dennis Meyers of Florida, Greg and Vickey Grieves of 
Saranac, Clifford and Sonja Grieves of Zeeland, Helen and John Stezick of 
Lowell, Jeff and Liz Grieves of Pennsylvania, Cheryl and Jack Wustman of 
Saranac; eighteen grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren.  He was 
preceded in death by one grandson Kenyon Hill in 1997, one granddaughter Kylie 
Grieves; two brothers, Keith, Bryce; two sisters, Helen and Marian.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday at Lake Funeral Home in 
Saranac with Mr. Jack Wustman officiating. The family will receive friends and 
relatives Wednesday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Anyone 
wishing may make a memorial contribution to Hospice of Michigan.
