The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, November 4, 1930

The funeral services for Gerald Griffin, the five-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. 
Bernard B. Griffin who died in the University of Michigan hospital following a 
baffling illness, were held from the Boynton funeral chapel Monday afternoon.  
Dr. Paul L. Stewart conducted the services.  The interment was made in 
Highland Park cemetery.  Jack Broad, Donald Pelzer, George Holcomb, and Harold 
Seiler served as bearers.
