Ionia Sentinel - 29 October 1969
A former Ionia resident, Mrs. Flora B. Griffin, 86, died last Monday at her 
home at 811 Mahon, Lansing.  She was born March 27, 1883 in Lakeview, the 
daughter of B. F. Swett and Ruth Ann Secoy Swett and was a member of the First 
Baptist church.  Surviving are two sons, Walter Griffin of Williamston and 
Victor Griffin of Ionia; and a daughter, Mrs. Vida Bergan of Lansing; 11 
grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Jessie Starks of Ionia, Mrs. George Tonn of 
Lakeview, Mrs. Lennie Lenon of Remus and Mrs. Ora Holly of Mesick.

Funeral services will be on Thursday at 2 pm at Myers funeral home.  Rev. 
David McClean of Lansing will officiate and interment will be at the Balcom 
cemetery
