Lake Odessa Wave-Wed. August 5, 1981

ORVILLE F. GRIFFIN
LAKE ODESSA-Orville F. Griffin, 73, of Lake Odessa died July 28, evening at his 
home.

He was born Dec.16, 1907, in Everett, Mich., the son of Frank and Laura Kibby 
Griffin.

He moved in 1921 with his family to Lansing. He was married to Charlotte Walters 
March 9, 1934, in Lansing. He was employed by Motor Wheel in Lansing for more 
than 30 years before his retirement in 1968.

He is survived by his wife; three sons, Orville Jr, Richard and Clair, all of 
Lake Odessa; one daughter Mrs.John (Violet) Johnson of Manhattan, Kansas; two 
brothers, Edwin Bradbury of Hubbardston and  William Randall of Hollywood, 
Kentucky; and one sister, Dorothy, of Grand Rapids.

One grandson and three great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services were Aug. 1 at 1:30 p.m. from the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel 
in Lake Odessa, with the Rev.James Hulett officiating.

Burial was in Lakeside Cemetery.
