Griffin, a faithful citizen of Lake Odessa for 40 years died at Pennock hospital Tuesday morning of a weakened heart condition following an operation for a ruptured appendix. Mr.Griffin was a faithful member of Central Methodist church being a teacher of the adult Bible class at the time of his being stricken. He was also an active member of the local Townsend cub. He was 76 years of age. Surviving are the widow, Viola, a son Dale of Indianapolis, Ind., a sister Mts.William Sweitzer and a brother Elton, both in Lake Odessa, and four grandsons. The funeral will be held from the Wortley & Baine chapel at 2 this afternoon and burial will be in Lakeside cemetery. The Rev. Myron E.Hoyt pastor of Central Methodist church ere, will officiate.
