Richard “Rick” Thomas Griffiths, 54, of Belding, passed away unexpectedly 
Thursday evening, Feb. 24, 2011 at home in Belding. Rick was born in Belding on 
Sept. 13, 1956, the son of John Jr. and Barbara Johnson Griffiths.

He enjoyed music, making artificial floral arrangements, walking and his cats.

Rick is survived by his sister Carol Brooks of Belding and brother Craig 
Griffiths of Alma, several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded by his parents. 

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial services will 
be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2011 at First Baptist church, Belding with Pastor 
Bruce Burfield officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at 
the church. Inurnment will be in River Ridge Cemetery, Belding.

Memorial contributions may be given to the First Baptist church or the fund to 
help save Belding’s Clock Tower. Cremation services have been entrusted to 
Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.
