Ionia Standard, 15 May 1914

Thomas Griffith died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mack A. Nichols, in Grand
Rapids, Sunday morning, where the funeral took place Tuesday morning.  He was a
resident of Ionia about ten years, when his daughter lived here, and was known
to many of our citizens.  He was 86 years old and veteran of the civil war.
