                             MARY E. GRIFFITHS

Funeral services for Mary Griffiths, 87, of 6477 Merrick Street were held 
Tuesday afternoon at Huffman Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Lilley officiated at the 
service. Interment was in River Ridge Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Craig Griffiths, Richard Griffiths, Roger Clements, Phillip 
Clements, and Paul Tompsett.

Mrs.Griffiths died Saturday June 12, at Belding Christian Nursing Home. She was 
born in North Wales, England on January 21, 1884. Her parents were Francis and 
Hannah Dawson Jenkins.

Mrs. Griffiths was married to John Griffiths who died in 1949. She was 
previously employed by the silk mills as a spinner machine operator.

Her survivors include one daughter, Mrs.Fred (Eleanor) Clements of Crystal; two 
sons, John Griffiths Jr. of 734 Harrison Street and Thomas Griffiths of 6477 
Merrick Street; two sisters,Mrs.A.S. Williams and Mrs.Rowlands, both of North 
Wales, England; two brothers, Albert and Percy Jenkins, both of North Wales, 
England; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
