Dorothy Grigsby passed away Jan.  21, 2010 at the age of 74.  She was born Dec.
 16, 1935 to Frank and F. Myrtle (James) Hull.  She graduated from Ionia High
school in the class of 1954, and the Hurley School of Nursing in Flint, Mich. in
1958.  She married Carl Grigsby, June 21, 1958.  Together they raise three
wonderful girls.  Dorothy worked in the Med-Surg department of the Ionia County
Memorial Hospital, and then as a school nurse for Ionia Public Schools.  She
retired as a nurse supervisor for the Michigan Department of Corrections in 1988.

Dorothy is survived by her husband Carl; daughters Carol (David) Lund of
Sammimish, Wash., Don Griffin of Ionia and Cindy (Jim Huber) Grigsby of Ionia;
brothers Don (Marlene) Hull of Fenwick, Bob (Joanne) Hull of College Place,
Wash., Harold (Julie) Hull and Richard (Janet) Hull of Ionia; grandchildren
Jeffrey (Kelli), Lori and Travis Lund of Provo, Utah and Jonathan and Alaina
Griffin of Ionia.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Loraine
and a great-grandson Riley Lund.

Funeral services will be entrusted to Lake Funeral Home of Ionia.  Per Dorothy’s
request there will be no visitation, and a private service for family only,
conducted by Pastor Kendall Harger of Shiloh Community Church.  Interment in
Tuttle Cemetery.
