He was born in Allegan county September 23, 1892, the son of William and Lennie Grigsby. He was a veteran of World War I serving in France and was a Consumers Power employee 38 years before retiring in 1958. June 13, 1929, he was married to Eva Pringle and she preceded him in death. He was then married to Rose Hamilton of Battle Creek in 1939 and she died in May of 1969. He was a lifelong member of Allegan Masonic lodge F&AM. Surviving are a son, Carl, of Lyons, three grandchildren; brother, Berneith of Holland. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 pm at Shaw-Rivett-Hull funeral home in Muir.
