Ionia Sentinel Standard, 3 Jul 1979

Funeral services for Henry Otto Grill were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the 
Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Eugene Thompson officiating.  
Organist was Mrs. George Ganger, and soloist was Mrs. Wendell Yager.  Pall 
bearers were Elmer Jones, George Ranger, Philip Townley, Wendell Yager, Sheldon 
Mason, and Frank Johnson.  Members of the Ionia World War I barracks 1362 
attended as a group.

Burial was in the Bloomer Center Cemetery, near Carson city.  Military 
graveside services were conducted by the Sheridan VFW Post 5065.  Commander 
Eric Halverson presented a flag to the family.  Following services, a luncheon 
was served in the church basement by the ladies of the church.
