Shindorf driving. Grinnell was killed, the thill of the buggy piercing his head near the right eye for four or five inches; Chickering, badly hurt, was taken to his home and attended by a local doctor, and was taken to Butterworth hospital next afternoon for treatment, his jaw having been broken, and there being a severe gash on one of his limbs, and Shindorf was badly bruised about the hips and ankles from being thrown about 20 feet as the conveyances came together. Grinnell is a married man, and lived in Belding, while Shindorf lives a mile and a half south of Smyrna. The Chickering family are will known residents of Otisco.
