Ellis E. Griswold, 53, of 6587 Bricker Rd., Hubbardston, was dead on arrival 
Sunday morning at Carson City hospital.  He had suffered a heart attack.

He was born in Ionia county June 21, 1921 and was a lifelong resident of Ionia 
and Montcalm counties.  His present home is just over the Ionia county line into 
Montcalm county.

For the past 26 years, he was employed at Gibson Refrigerator Company in 
Greenville.

In 1946 he was married to Virgelene Sutton and she survives as do a son and 
daughter.

He also leaves three brothers, Elvert and Earl Griswold of Ionia and Elmer of 
Eagle; four sisters, Mrs. Elsie Kendall of Ionia, Mrs. Eulah Rowley of Orleans, 
Mrs. Eunice Blank of St. Johns and Mrs. Esther Cunningham of Hubbardston.

Arrangements by Stebbins-Simpson Funeral Home, Sheridan.
Interment in Palo cemetery.
