MUIR- Elmer Eli Griswold, 73, died at Ionia Manor Friday.

Born in Bloomer Township, Montcalm County, May 27, 1913, he was the son of Eli 
and Edith Dudhope Griswold.  He was retired from the State of Michigan for 
which he had been a security guard at the state Capitol.

Surviving are: a brother, Earl Griswold of Ionia; four sisters, Elsie Kendall 
of Ionia, Eula Rowley of Orleans, Eunice Blank of St. Johns and Esther 
Cunningham of Fenwick; nieces and nephews. Three brothers and two sisters 
preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Hull Memorial Chapel, Muir, 
with Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.

Burial will be in Palo cemetery,
