Sentinel-Std. - Friday, Nov. 26, 1982

IONIA- John B. Grobbel, 71, of 628 Morse St., Ionia, died Wednesday morning at 
his residence.

He was born on March 21, 1911 the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Grobbel in  
Centerline. He married Mary a. Delamielleure in Centerline on May 27, 1934.

He had been a resident of Ionia since 1937 and was a former employee of Grand 
Valley Packing, and Kroger of Detroit. He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul 
Church and Knights of Columbus.

Surviving are his wife; three sons, Jack of Lyons, Donald of Essexville, George 
of Mt. Clemens; one daughter, Mrs. Julie Hudson of Lansing;; one brother; James 
of Richmond; and two sisters; Mrs. Ceal Zott and Sister Thomas Aquinas both of 
Centerline. 

funeral mass will be on Saturday at 11 a.m. from SS. Peter and Paul church. 
Burial will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery.

Rosary will be recite4d at the Myers-Roetman Funeral Home on Friday at 8 p.m.

The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 and 7-
9 p.m.

A memorial has been established for the Michigan Heart Association.
