Grobbel, 77, formerly of Ionia, died Friday in Lansing. Born Nov. 7, 1912, in Warren, she was the daughter of Alphonse and Laura Wallert Delamielleure. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul's church for many years and more recently attended St. Gerard's Church in Lansing. Surviving are three sons, Donald Grobbel of Essexville, George Grobbel of Anchorville, and John A. Grobbel of Kettering, Ohio; one daughter, Mrs. William (Judy) Hudson of Lansing; 13 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers Stanley Delamiellure and Robert Delamiellure; six sisters, Madeline Coussens, Elizabeth Dereadt, Margaret Svhla, Agnes Meerschaert, Jeanne Brown, and Julia Skiba. She was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Grobbel, in November 1982, and her son, Robert C. Grobbel, in August of 1967. Funeral Mass will be Monday at 11 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul's Church, with the Rev. Robert McGraw as celebrant. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will be at Cook Funeral Home Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday and 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Prayer vigil will be at the funeral hoe at 6 p.m. Sunday. Memorials have been established for Alzheimer's Disease Foundation and the American Diabetes Association, in care of the funeral home.
