Hastings Reminder, 8 Feb 1994

Harold H. Groff, 75 of Lake Odessa passed away Thursday, February 3, 1994 at 
Pennock Hospital.  He was born February 14, 1918 the son of Shirley and Eva 
(Merrill) Groff.  Mr. Groff graduated from Clarksville High School.

He served in the Unites States Army for 18 months and the United States Navy 
for three years and three months during World War II.

Mr. Groff was married to Eloise Miller.  She preceded him in death July 21, 
1986.

He lived and farmed in the Lake Odessa area all his life.  He was a member of 
the American Legion in Saranac and the Jackson Mutschler VFW Post.

Surviving are one son, Gary Groff of Lake Odessa; one daughter, Marsha Groff of 
Corpus Christi, Texas; one grand daughter and one grand son.

There will be no funeral services or funeral home visitation.  Interment was at 
Fort Custer National Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the 
Lakewood Community Ambulance.  Arrangements were made by the Koops Funeral 
Chapel in Lake Odessa.
