Henry S. Groff, 77, Died Sunday A. M.

Henry S. Groff, 77, died at his home on Fifth avenue Sunday following a long
illness.  He was born in Campbell township April 20, 1869, and had resided on
his farm in that township for 52 years before his retirement four years ago when
he with Mrs. Groff purchased and moved to their home here in the village.

He had been a member of the Campbell township Brethren church for 53 years. 
Surviving are his wife Lorena, three daughters, Mrs. George Mick in Clarksville,
Mrs. Calvin Nash and Mrs. DeVere Murray in Lake Odessa, a son Shirley also in
Campbell township, a sister, Mrs. John Allarding in Lake Odessa, five
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Pickens Funeral chapel Tuesday afternoon with
burial in Lakeside cemetery, the Rev. Ray Kreines officiating.
