LORENA GROFF LIFELONG RESIDENT DIED MONDAY
   Mrs. Lorena A Groff 82 died Monday morning at the home of her son-in-law and
daughter Mr. and Mrs. 
DeVerne Murray, after a long illness.
   A lifelong resident of this area, she resided on their farm west of town for 52
years before moving to the  
village June 9, 1943.
   She was a charter member of the Grace Brethren church.
   Surviving are three daughter, Mrs. Orpha Mick of Clarksville, Mrs. Calvn (Alma)
Nash and Mrs. Devere 
(Lelah) Murray; one son Shirley; one sister Mrs. Bert Lepard all of Lake Odessa;
five grand children and six 
great grand children.  Her husband Henry died six years ago in April.
   Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 at the Pickens funeral chapel with
burial in Lakeside cemetery.  
Rev. Lee Jenkine officiated.
