                              MRS. EVA M. GROFF

LAKE ODESSA - Mrs.Eva M. Groff, 77 of rural Lake Odessa, died Wednesday at 
Provincial house in Hastings following an extended illness. She had been a 
patient at the rest home six months.


Born near Clarksville, May 10, 1895, she was the daughter of Fred and Eunice 
Walter Merrill and a graduate of Clarksville High School in 1913.

January 14, 1914, she was married to Shirley Groff of Clarksville and he 
survives; also a son, Harold of Lake Odessa and daughter,Helen Groff of 
Grandville; two grandchildren and a great grandson; sister,Mrs.Josephine Eldred 
of Clarksville.

Funeral services will be at Pickens Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa Saturday at 3 
pm. Rev Arthur Heisler will officiate and interment will be at Clarksville 
Cemetery.
